OUR MISSION
Our mission is to oppose toxic ideologies by supporting those who are targeted by Cancel Culture.
The Context
A society cannot be free if people are afraid to exchange ideas or express views and opinions.
Suppressing free expression through harassment, humiliation, threats, intimidation, persecution and fear is an authoritarian tactic often called “Cancel Culture." Intolerant actors incite cancellation campaigns to enforce conformity and compliance with ideologies indefensible through facts and reason.
Today America, and other free Western societies, are under attack by pernicious ideologies that undermine our individual rights and liberties. By silencing critics, Cancel Culture enables these poisonous ideologies to take hold.
To defeat these destructive ideologies, first it is necessary to weaken the impact of Cancel Culture by supporting dissenting voices, who have been attacked.

WHO WE ARE
Cancellation Support Network is a nonpartisan grassroots organization dedicated to supporting those who are targeted by toxic cancellation campaigns. Join our network!
The inspiration for CSN came primarily from two sources. First, we were inspired by Andrew Pessin's account of his own experience when he was targeted for cancellation. Second, our thinking was influenced by Alexandr Solzhenitsyn's essay, "Live Not by Lies," where he asked how can an ordinary person take a civic stand in a repressive environment.

Let your credo be this: Let the lie come into the world, let it even triumph. But not through me. The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world. In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.
We've turned now where the censoriousness comes from the progressives. The only real way to deal with it is to not be scared, to not apologize when you've done nothing wrong, to not be scared of the mob and to stand your ground, stand by your convictions.
